Guys, I’m not going to let this go. Because there are only ten days left. I even wrote a special post where you can find your district.

And after that, I hope you won’t be SO lazy and SO irresponsible that you just blow it off and refuse to spend a measly 25 minutes of your time to sign for an independent candidate who is busting themselves and practically dying out there trying to collect the required number of voter signatures to get on the ballot.

Don’t be the person who indifferently scrolls past the hundred-and-first post on this subject. Go and sign.

And if you’ve already signed, post this list of districts/candidates on social media and appeal to your friends’ conscience.

So.

If you live in the ARBAT, KHAMOVNIKI, or PRESNYA districts, you urgently need to sign for LYUBOV SOBOL. Signature collection points are listed here.

If you live in the KRASNOSELSKY, BASMANNY, MESHCHANSKY, or SOKOLNIKI districts, you urgently need to sign for ILYA YASHIN. Signature collection points are listed here.

Yashin and Sobol have collected more signatures than anyone else so far. One final push is needed to help them. This matters because Yashin and Sobol are at the highest risk of being barred from the election. Both would almost certainly win if they are allowed to run, and neither City Hall nor the Kremlin wants to see them become deputies.

If you live in the AEROPORT, VOYKOVSKY, KOPTEVO, or SOKOL districts, you urgently need to sign for IVAN ZHDANOV. Signature collection points are listed here.

Zhdanov is the director of the ACF (Anti-Corruption Foundation). As you can imagine, Putin and Sobyanin would personally eat 17 linear meters of curb stone bought at triple the market price before letting him get deputy status. So signing for Ivan is a matter of honor for every Muscovite.

If you live in the KONKOVO or TYOPLY STAN districts, you urgently need to sign for VLADIMIR MILOV. You can find out how to sign here.

Milov is in a great position in this district. City Hall is backing a propagandist from the Zvezda TV channel, while the incumbent United Russia deputy is running against her. They’ve fallen out. Milov will win. But bring him your signature right now.

If you live in CHERTANOVO NORTH, NAGORNY, or the eastern half of ZYUZINO, you urgently need to sign for KONSTANTIN YANKAUSKAS. Signature collection points are here.

Yankauskas has worked in this district for many years. He’s a municipal deputy there, and he ought to be a city deputy. And he will be—but first he has to get registered.

If you live in the BEGOVOY, BESKUDNIKOVSKY, SAVYOLOVSKY, TIMIRYAZEVSKY, or KHOROSHEVSKY districts, you urgently need to sign for YULIA GALYAMINA. Signature collection points are here.

Galyamina came in second last time. This time she’ll win with the help of “Smart Voting”.

If you live in the AKADEMICHESKY, GAGARINSKY, LOMONOSOVSKY, or part of PROSPEKT VERNADSKOGO districts, you urgently need to sign for ELENA RUSAKOVA. Signature collection points are listed here.

Rusakova is almost a guaranteed win. City Hall really does not want her on the ballot. Help out.

If you live in FILEVSKY PARK, part of SHCHUKINO, or KHOROSHEVO-MNEVNIKI, you urgently need to sign for DMITRY GUDKOV. Signature collection points are listed here.

Running against Gudkov is some sleazy TV host with a talk show like Solovyov’s (Vladimir Solovyov, a pro-Kremlin TV presenter), only second-rate. We need to help Dmitry beat him. Most likely, we can.

If you live in the DANILOVSKY, DONSKOY, NAGATINO-SADOVNIKI, or part of NAGATINSKY ZATON districts, you urgently need to sign for KIRILL GONCHAROV. Instructions on how to sign are here.

Goncharov came in second last time. What he lacked to take first place was exactly “Smart Voting”.

If you live in the ALTUFYEVSKY, MARFINO, or OTRADNOYE districts, you urgently need to sign for ANDREI BABUSHKIN. How to sign is explained here.

Babushkin is a great guy. He’ll win this time. In 2014, he fell short by 2% in the district.

If you live in KRYLATSKOYE, STROGINO, or part of KUNTSEVO, you urgently need to sign for IRINA KOPKINA. Instructions on how to sign are here.

Same story with Kopkina. Last time she finished second with a strong result.

If you live in the GOLOVINSKY, LEVOBEREZHNY, KHOVRINO, or part of ZAPADNOYE DEGUNINO districts, you urgently need to sign for EVGENY BUNIMOVICH. Instructions on how to sign are here.

Bunimovich is a terrific, very strong figure. He’s been elected many times already. I have no doubt he’ll be elected again this time.

If you live in the BABUSHKINSKY, LOSINOOSTROVSKY, or YAROSLAVSKY districts, you urgently need to sign for VIKTOR KHAMRAYEV. Instructions on how to sign are here.

A new face. A former journalist at *Kommersant* (a Russian business daily). It’s a good district. I think his chances of being elected are decent, but he needs signatures.

Found your district? Go today—don’t wait.

Didn’t find your district? Then go here—to our Signature Collection Center. We help different candidates from different districts there. Take a look—your district will definitely be there too.

Why aren’t there 45 names here, if there are 45 districts?

Because in many districts, the right move is to support the “systemic opposition” (officially registered opposition parties tolerated by the Kremlin). First and foremost, the Communists. There are excellent candidates there, such as Vladislav Zhukovsky, running in Chertanovo South and Chertanovo Central. Or Shuvalova, running in Zamoskvorechye, Tagansky, Tverskoy, and Yakimanka.

Some candidates are less impressive, but if the goal is to break United Russia’s monopoly, you still need to vote for them, because a democratic opposition candidate simply has no chance there. In those places, City Hall will deliberately register a weak opposition candidate using fake signatures so they can siphon votes away from the Communist Party or A Just Russia candidate.

A very harmful thought may occur to you: they need as many as 6,000 signatures there, so mine won’t make any difference.

It will. There’s a reason signature gatherers are paid 300 rubles per signature (about $5 at the time; and by the way, all campaign headquarters are looking for gatherers, so if you want, you can earn some extra money).

In short: this is an important moment. Don’t waste a minute.

If you’ve already signed—great, but urge your neighbors and friends to do the same.

If you haven’t yet, that’s very bad—but still fixable.

If you don’t want to go, then okay—you deserve Putin.

P.S. And if you’re from Novosibirsk, come sign for Boyko.
