We shoot a hell of a lot of video. Constantly.
And a lot of people watch our videos.
We have 2,817,313 subscribers on our YouTube channel.
We have almost a million subscribers on our second YouTube channel (we're just 15,000 short, by the way, so subscribe).
We publish field reports on our campaign headquarters channel.
We have the experimental “Kira News” format, with hundreds of thousands of views on social media.
We help labor unions make videos.
Each of our headquarters has its own YouTube channel.
We've also started experimenting with videos for Instagram. They're a little insane, but 800,000 views don't just fall into your lap.
In other words, this is one of those cases where you work a lot, but all that work really pays off.
Right now, we really need a video guy. Or a video girl.
This person should be able to both shoot and edit videos. Very importantly, they must be able to independently find and select photo and video materials for them.
The job will mostly involve working with a Panasonic GH4 camera. Required: ability to edit in the latest version of Final Cut Pro X and work in Photoshop. Knowledge of Motion and Adobe Premiere is a plus.
This is strictly an in-office job in Moscow.
We need someone who follows our video work, can do it themselves, and knows how to make it better.
Someone who really gets YouTube and understands YouTube video as its own genre.
And I'll repeat, word for word, a line from the first post about looking for a camera operator-editor:
- burn with the desire to make videos that will make the Kremlin and United Russia (Russia’s ruling political party) suffer.
