Ilya Yashin, who was arrested yesterday for the fifth time in a row, has published his political statement on what should be done in the upcoming elections.
There are also some quite important remarks there about the “systemic liberals” (liberals operating within the Kremlin-approved political system) — give it a read.
In short, I agree with him, and I’m also sharing the text simply as an act of solidarity with a man whom the authorities are so openly mocking and abusing — along with his voters.
And at this point, any reasonable person would endorse Ilya’s appeal: Not a single vote for the “collective Kasamara” (a reference to pro-government candidates associated with Moscow official Diana Kasamara), citizens. Only “Smart Voting.”
