This morning I was on air on Echo (Echo of Moscow, a Russian radio station) and answered all the tough questions from the hosts and the audience about our "5 Steps" program.
We are proposing direct cash assistance for citizens right now, starting with payments of 20,000 rubles (about $270) to every adult and 10,000 rubles (about $135) for every child as early as April.
There are critics. The overwhelming majority of them are within the government, but their questions also need to be answered.

After I spoke, the hosts held a poll on air. Ninety-two percent of those who voted by phone supported our idea.
We have already collected several hundred thousand signatures.
Our campaign is supported by top economists. Every day, more good people join us. Take a look at the excellent Mikhail Veller and Ilya Yashin.
But the campaign needs to be much broader. Several hundred thousand must turn into several million.
