“5 Steps” has been published on the government’s ROI platform (the Russian Public Initiative website). Let’s collect those 100,000 signatures within 24 hours.

My vote became the 359th. And it is a very important vote on a formal petition, which the government is legally required to respond to.

If you’ve been following this, you know that the “5 Steps” campaign—a demand for direct financial assistance to citizens and businesses across three platforms—has collected around 1.5 million signatures so far.

This is very important, and there is no doubt that thanks to those 1.5 million people, Putin did in fact carry out one of our five demands, albeit in a scaled-down form.

10,000 rubles (about 100 euros / 110 US dollars) will be allocated for every child aged 3 to 15. We demanded support for children from 0 to 18, but even this is a breakthrough. Around 27 million families will receive the money.

But until now, we still could not say that formal demands had been presented to the government. Only political ones. Signatures on websites that have no connection to state authorities.

Political demands matter more than formal ones, but it is best when you have both. The authorities understand this too, which is why they dragged out our petition on the state ROI website (Russian Public Initiative portal) for as long as they could.

That gave them the opportunity to act puzzled: demands? What demands? Somewhere out there on the internet people are collecting signatures. The only signatures we recognize are the ones on the government website.

But now the deadline has expired, and they have been forced to publish the official petition on the government website as well. To make it mandatory for review, it needs 100,000 signatures—verified signatures submitted through Gosuslugi (Russia’s state online public services portal).

Let’s try to collect them within 24 hours.

Don’t put it off—sign right now: https://www.roi.ru/66369/

And if you still haven’t signed on the other platforms, do it here.

1.5 million signatures, and they fulfill one demand. Get to 10 million, and they will fulfill them all.
