On the eve of Medical Worker Day, the head of Roszdravnadzor (Russia’s federal healthcare watchdog) could not lie about the statistics on dead doctors and nurses and told the truth: 489 medical workers in Russia died after contracting the virus.
That figure is even higher than the total in the “Memory List” — a list of deceased medical workers maintained collectively by doctors themselves, which Kremlin media repeatedly dismissed as “fake news”.
However you look at it, the number is monstrous and exposes the Kremlin’s lies about the epidemic and its efforts to fight it.
If you believe the official number of COVID deaths in Russia, it means that as many as 6% of the dead were doctors. An enormous share. Nothing like that exists anywhere else. That would mean the healthcare system has collapsed and doctors have no protective equipment at all.
And if we take those 489 dead medical workers as the average 0.5% of total deaths, as is the case elsewhere, then it follows that the official mortality data are understated by a factor of 10 (!!).

Once again, I want to draw attention to three things:
Credit to everyone who supported the Doctors’ Alliance from the very beginning — it warned right away that this was exactly how it would turn out.
What scoundrels and traitors all those are who fought against the Doctors’ Alliance and continue to do so. This trade union exists despite constant pressure.
People were dying and continue to die. Today, the country’s second-largest city is saying that there are no hospital beds left. This is no joke.
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Don’t go to this “vote” unless you truly consider it super-mega-important. It will be a mad event for infecting people. The same Doctors’ Alliance says so directly:
