Today is the final statement in the New Greatness case.
An organization created by FSB (Russia’s security service) and police agents. Of the organization’s 11 members, 4 turned out to be agents. They simply set up a little “opposition chat” on Telegram and lured several schoolchildren and students to a rented apartment. There they gave them a “charter” (which they had written themselves).
And just like that, it became a “terrorist organization.” The poor kids could be sent to prison, while they collected bonuses and another round of promotions.
Today, a letter was published from one of the defendants, Ruslan Kostylenkov. It is hard to read, but it is absolutely necessary.
The case was built to a large extent on Kostylenkov’s confession.
And now he describes how those “confessions” were beaten out of him.
