Not one but two things amused me enormously during Putin’s latest press conference.
You already know about the first one: “If they had wanted to poison him, they would have finished the job”. By that point, I had already recorded a conversation with the poisoner Kudryavtsev, in which he explains in detail that they did want to poison me, but failed. “There are a lot of nuances in our line of work” (quote).
And the second was when Putin said that I have no positive agenda and offer nothing. But besides my campaign platform in the Moscow mayoral election, the presidential election, and the party platform, by that point I had already recorded a brand-new conversation with Professor Guriev about exactly that. A detailed discussion of what should be done so that our country can live well and prosper.
