At this very moment, searches are being carried out at the Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF) and at the homes of many of its staff members. Searches are also underway at the homes of Yulia Navalnaya and Oleg Navalny. They must be looking for the coronavirus, no less: the searches are being conducted under Article 236 of the Russian Criminal Code, violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules.
Why they had to break down the door to Yulia and Alexei Navalny’s apartment is completely unclear. Alexei has not been in that apartment since the trip on which he was poisoned.
Press secretary Kira Yarmysh, investigator Georgy Alburov, and Moscow headquarters chief Oleg Stepanov were taken out specifically from the special detention center where they are being held under arrest so that searches could be conducted at their apartments. A very ugly story. Doctor Anastasia Vasilyeva was detained right in a café so she could be taken away for a search of her apartment. Remember when Sobyanin caused those lines in the metro? Did you hear of anyone storming into Sobyanin’s home with a search warrant?
We know perfectly well and understand what these searches are connected to. This:

It is safe to say that the sick man is sitting in the Kremlin (and sometimes in his palace). The protests in more than 170 cities badly frightened Putin. So he decided to disrupt the work of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF) ahead of the new rallies. He hopes the staff will give up and stop fighting for Alexei Navalny’s freedom. Of course, they will achieve nothing. Everyone whose home is being searched right now is very brave and strong—people like that cannot be intimidated by searches.
