Irkutsk became the thirteenth city on Alexei Navalny’s 2017 autumn campaign tour. The meeting took place at a private venue—in the courtyard of a furniture shopping center—and the trip itself was also memorable for the journey to Lake Baikal. This tour was part of Navalny’s presidential campaign: after opening regional campaign offices, he began holding large meetings with voters across Russia.
