Murmansk was the first city on Alexei Navalny’s 2017 autumn campaign tour. The event took place in cold weather and pouring rain, but it was there that a major series of public appearances across Russia began. The tour was part of Navalny’s presidential campaign: after opening regional campaign offices, he began holding large meetings with voters throughout Russia.
