On April 14, 2017, Alexei Navalny arrived in Tyumen for the opening of his presidential campaign office. In the city, he met with journalists and volunteers, spoke about the campaign’s plans, and explained how regional offices were supposed to recruit supporters, campaign, and prepare for the upcoming signature collection. Tyumen became another link in the large regional network Navalny was building in the spring of 2017 almost without pause—city after city, meeting after meeting.
