On March 17, 2017, Alexei Navalny came to Tomsk to open a campaign office. On the night before the opening, unknown individuals filled the apartment doors of office coordinator Alyona Khlestunova and her deputy, Ksenia Fadeyeva, with construction foam, damaged cars, and tried to disrupt the team’s work. During the meeting itself, police interrupted the event on the pretext of a bomb threat. This gallery captures one of the most characteristic episodes of the regional campaign: the office was opened anyway, even when pressure began before Navalny had even arrived.
