On March 17, 2017, Alexei Navalny arrived to open a campaign office in Tomsk. During the night before the opening, unidentified individuals filled the apartment doors of office coordinator Alyona Khlestunova and her deputy, Ksenia Fadeyeva, with construction foam, damaged cars, and tried to disrupt the team’s work. During the meeting itself, police interrupted the event on the pretext of a bomb threat. This gallery captures one of the most characteristic episodes of the regional campaign: the office opened anyway, even when pressure began before Navalny had even arrived.
