A gray-haired man holding a chunk of curb stone was spotted today hiding behind a bush near the Moscow City Duma. ⠀ Sergei Sobyanin got so worked up over the roundtable on political repression, to which representatives of the ACF (Anti-Corruption Foundation) had been invited, that the event was banned the night before. ⠀ Most of those who came were not allowed into the building. Instead, "defenders of United Russia" (the ruling party) were sent out to the crowd, whose job was to run around and shout. ⠀ I got some Dagestani guy, who was (for some reason, on behalf of all Dagestanis) defending Dmitry Rogozin from me and screeching that our latest investigation into him was commissioned. "You were paid two bitcoins!" When I expressed doubt that Rogozin’s salary of 30 million rubles made all Dagestanis happy, he declared that Turchak, one of the leaders of United Russia, was his "older brother," and in the end he rudely yelled at deputy Yengalycheva and broke the door to deputy Shuvalova’s office. Apparently he was overcome with emotion. ⠀ So this is our party of power. Do you want people like this to keep ruling our country? If not, then each of us must make at least a small but daily contribution to the fight against the party of crooks and thieves.
