So, place your bets: who’ll sell out first? ⠀ Several well-known bloggers have already published letters offering them money to promote Putin’s “nationwide vote.” ⠀ “It’s important for us to convey the importance of adopting these amendments to all internet users.” ⠀ Judging by the fact that they want to buy ads on huge channels like @wylsacom, they’ve allocated a ton of money, and YouTubers and Instagram influencers will be bought up in bulk. ⠀ They’ll all dance to the tune, like Timati did for Sobyanin (Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow). ⠀ It’s obvious why this is being done. This “nationwide vote” is a complete scam. It’s basically a spectacle designed to turn all the country’s citizens into idiots. The amendments will be adopted FIRST by the State Duma deputies (and they already passed them in the first reading yesterday), and only then will there be a meaningless “nationwide vote.” ⠀ And how could they possibly do without Instagram girls making posts like: “Oh my god, girls, I was getting my nails done at the salon yesterday and they told me something absolutely wild. Turns out there’s going to be a vote soon, and you absolutely have to go, it’s so important. I had a spa appointment that day, but I even canceled it. Can you imagine?” ⠀ It’s important to understand that anyone who agrees to take this money stolen from us is an accomplice to theft. There’s nothing wrong with advertising. But in this case, they’ll take money out of our pocket (the state budget) in order to deceive us with it—to persuade us to vote for amendments proposed by a thieving government. ⠀ Anyone seen taking part in this campaign should be bullied, shamed, harassed, gaslit—or just unfollowed. ⠀ Who do you think will be the first of these “celebrities” to sell out? Write your guesses in the comments, and then we’ll check.
