In four days, we opened four campaign headquarters: Samara, Ufa, Kazan, and Nizhny Novgorod. It’s been amazing, and all the meetings with volunteers have been incredibly inspiring. But the best meeting turned out to be in Nizhny Novgorod—precisely because it was the only city where the authorities were dumb enough to try to disrupt it. They blocked the rented hall. But we’re simple people. When the truth is on your side, a park bench will do just fine. And despite the rain, no one was going to leave. An incredible boost of energy for me.
