Repost from @teamnavalny ・・・ “I don’t want to be a candidate like all the others who do nothing,” @navalny4 said during the appeal hearing at the Moscow City Court. “You are preventing me from doing this work—from traveling and meeting with people. I ask you to take note of that.” Well then, if the authorities won’t let Alexei do his job, we’ll take it on ourselves. Do they think they can simply paralyze our campaign by temporarily removing its central figure from the front lines? Not at all. We are launching the #IamForNavalny campaign. What do they want? To stop Alexei from reaching more people with information. What will they get instead? People will be talking about Alexei everywhere. We have 25 days of energetic, intensive work ahead of us. We will show that over the past few months of the election campaign, we have learned how to speak with people and campaign effectively, increasing the number of Alexei Navalny’s supporters across Russia. Over the next 25 days, we will do all the same things—twice as much, and better. “For ourselves and for that guy too” (a Russian expression meaning to do extra work for someone who can’t). That means new, attractive, easy-to-understand leaflets. It means one-person pickets in support of the campaign. It means intensive street campaigning at campaign cubes (branded street information stands). It means car stickers flashing here and there on the streets of your city. It means stories on social media about why you will cast your vote for Navalny. And the final chord: let’s all come out together for the Big Subbotnik (a volunteer community clean-up day) on July 8–9. A mass volunteer action—that is how we will symbolically welcome Alexei back into our ranks. Take part in the #IamForNavalny campaign, and the teams at our regional headquarters will help you and suggest ideas along the way. To fully carry out everything planned, the #Navalny2018 campaign needs funding. Any amount you send will help print leaflets, car stickers, and cube panels: 2018.navalny.com/donate
