The rally in Saratov was 🔥🔥🔥 — for some reason, the local authorities thought that without a stage, professional lighting, and sound, I simply wouldn’t be able to speak. They’d confiscate everything (they’re experts at that), I’d get upset, and head to the airport to mope. Like, they’d managed to shut it down. But our campaign rallies aren’t about lights, sound, or a stage. They’re about the people who came. I’m a simple person — I can climb onto the steps of a playground. And shout into a megaphone.
