This post is about how shameful it is to be a paid shill and a sellout. I mean, it’s disgraceful, right? Okay, so you make a living by posting ads on your social media. Then someone offers you some shameful political advertising. At least write: This is a paid advertisement, and I am posting information that it is now possible to vote where you live. Any decent person would cringe, but there wouldn’t be too many questions. At least it would be honest. But doing it like this — "Even though I’ll be away performing on magical Bali, my friend, makeup artist Georges, explained to me that #ElectionsWhereYouAre" — is just disgusting. A separate question: did the money from the Kremlin get delivered to all these paid propagandists in cash, or was it processed under contract? Did they pay taxes on it? Why are millions of rubles of taxpayers’ money being spent on this kind of covert campaigning? In short, shame on people like that. Let’s choose #strike instead. An honest person cannot take part in such "elections."
