Today is an important hearing. Just a few months ago, we won the so-called Yves Rocher case in the European Court of Human Rights, under which I received a suspended sentence and my brother Oleg was effectively taken hostage—sentenced to 3.5 years in prison. He has already served 3.3 of those years, most of them in solitary confinement. The ECHR ruled that the case was fabricated. And now the case has finally reached the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, which is required to implement the ECHR’s ruling. By law, Oleg must be released immediately.
