Exactly one year ago, someone splashed a toxic substance based on *zelyonka* (a common Russian antiseptic solution, brilliant green) into my eye. An ambulance arrived and wrapped me up in bandages as if my head were about to fall apart. Of course it wasn’t, but the next day the ophthalmologist said I would almost certainly lose 80–90% of the vision in my right eye. But it all turned out okay! My right eye is now a little smaller than the left one (it’s quite noticeable during my Instagram live streams), but I can see more or less нормально. Though I do have to get it checked constantly. Thank you to the doctors—both ours and the Spanish ones!
