Court is the most boring place on earth. You just sit and wait. Everyone understands that the decision isn’t really made here. This is just where they go through the necessary formalities with some guy in a robe and all the usual “I am informing you of your rights.” It’s never anything even close to what court looks like in the movies. Ninety percent of the time, everyone is just sitting and waiting. In the Beautiful Russia of the Future, judicial reform will be one of the most important priorities.
