We won! On Monday, we published an investigation revealing that the state-owned company Ilyushin was purchasing an Audi A8 for 8.5 million rubles (about $135,000 at the time). The car apparently was intended for Alexei Rogozin, the son of Dmitry Rogozin, a former deputy prime minister and now the head of Roscosmos (Russia’s state space corporation). And last night, a notice appeared on the government procurement website saying that the purchase had been canceled by the management of the state company.
