If only this crab, eaten at a street cafe on a pier in San Francisco, had known that almost 10 years later it would bring my wife 40,000 rubles (about $430). The photo had been lying around on the internet for God knows how long until, last year, crooks from *Komsomolskaya Pravda* (a Russian tabloid newspaper) used it for a report about “Navalny’s American vacation.” The editorial staff admitted the photo had been stolen and agreed to pay @yulia_navalnaya 40,000 rubles (about $430) as the photo’s author. KP correspondent @r_golovanov, Roman Golovanov—a crook and a thief—will go on working for the publication and telling everyone what a wonderful government we have.
