We came to the court hearing for ACF (Anti-Corruption Foundation) staffer Ruslan @rshaveddinov, who was abducted six months ago and taken to Novaya Zemlya (a remote Russian Arctic archipelago). For the past four months, there has been absolutely no news from Ruslan. No phone calls, no letters. They are not letting us into the courtroom. In other words, not a single defense representative is being allowed in. Shaveddinov is being denied the right to a defense. But at least they led him past us. So the trip was worth it if only to witness this moment of reunion between a wonderful couple: Ruslan and Kira @kira_yarmysh.
