Right now, somewhere in a bunker outside Moscow, V.V. Putin, having proclaimed himself the tsar of Russia, is sitting there, watching the tails of these columns disappear beyond the horizon, and feeling very upset. ⠀ An entire city—Khabarovsk—has refused to believe Putin’s endless lies about the "fairness" of his courts and the "honesty" of his elections. And not just Khabarovsk, by the way. Every city in Khabarovsk Krai, and even Vladivostok, saw solidarity rallies. ⠀ Putin is afraid and waiting. Waiting for people to grow tired and stop taking to the streets. Then, as he always does, he will try to arrest the protest leaders and disperse everyone else. ⠀ But Khabarovsk is not giving up. If anything, at least as many people took to the streets today as last weekend—if not more. They chose their governor—Sergei Furgal—and if he did something wrong, then let him be tried openly in Khabarovsk, not abducted and secretly taken to Moscow, where a factory of fabricated criminal cases has long been set up, staffed by thousands of prostitutes in judges’ robes and prosecutors’, police, and investigators’ uniforms. ⠀ The cowardly crook—Khabarovsk mayor Kravchuk—who claimed that people were being paid to go out into the streets, was sitting under his desk today, shaking with fear, because tens of thousands came out chanting, "Kravchuk, come out!" ⠀ Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk, and other cities need our solidarity. There is a total blackout on federal TV. But if each of us makes even a small effort, then 90 million people in our country who regularly use the internet will learn what is happening in Khabarovsk. (Appreciate how, in one of the carousel videos, they send a personal greeting to propagandist Solovyov, who says on television that "all sorts of drunks" are the ones coming out to protest in Khabarovsk.) ⠀ And those in Khabarovsk will feel even more strongly that the whole country stands with them. ⠀ And they know that one of their slogans (last photo)—"United Russia, get the hell out of our Far East"—is something everyone wants to say about their own city. #Khabarovsk #FreeFurgal #Furgal #FarEast
