So many people complain about 2020 and curse it so much that one thing becomes obvious: I got lucky, and for me this year wasn’t a bad one. ⠀ I traveled around the country. Spent a lot of time with my family. Met and talked with interesting people. The prospects for 2021 are shaping up to be intriguing too. ⠀ So I’m staying optimistic, and I wish the same for everyone else. Everything will be all right. ⠀ There’s just one thing that makes me sad. Today we congratulated everyone exactly like in the photo. We sat on the couch and shouted "Happy New Year!" into a phone screen over video call. ⠀ May neither COVID nor any other reason keep you from hugging your family and loved ones in 2021. ⠀ Happy New Year!
