Crimean Bridge. Stolen with Love is an investigation by Alexei Navalny into how state funds allocated for the production of the film Crimean Bridge. Made with Love! ended up in the hands of propagandists Margarita Simonyan, Tigran Keosayan, and their relatives.
The investigation examined the film’s financing, payments, contractors, and procurement process. A substantial portion of the funding was awarded without competitive procedures. At the center of the project was a “patriotic” film about the Crimean Bridge — intended as a symbolic project of the Russian state. But behind that image lay a familiar pattern: public money flowing to politically connected insiders. The ACF traced how funds moved through state institutions and official decisions before reaching specific beneficiaries — not through open competition or market mechanisms, but through access to state resources and personal proximity to power.
