This is Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin
He is the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia and is responsible for fighting crime and corruption in our country.
Alexander Ivanovich became the head of the Investigative Committee for one, but very important reason: he studied in the same student group as Vladimir Putin. As you have probably noticed, the fight against corruption in Russia is not going very well.
But we should not blame Alexander Ivanovich for this, he has many other things to do:
The investigation by Alexei Navalny's lawyer established that in 2000 A.I. Bastrykin founded a company in the Czech Republic, acquired real estate in Prague, and obtained a residence permit in the Czech Republic.
Why should Bastrykin be a good official in Russia if he associates his future with the calm, cozy Czech Republic?
Bastrykin, being a high-ranking official with access to state secrets, for many years concealed in his declarations of income and property the existence of real estate and a residence permit in a NATO member state.
Ask yourself the question:
- whose country's and whose people's interests does Colonel General of Justice Bastrykin defend?
- can the fight against corruption be successful if it is led by corrupt officials and fraudsters?
- why has Bastrykin still not been dismissed?
