I spoke with billionaire MP Lebedev on Radio Russia about "The Acupuncture of Infill Development". I don’t know what "acupuncture" is supposed to mean here, so I just talked about infill development. By the way, Lebedev turned out to be a perfectly decent guy. Tanned, level-headed, and calm as a tank. I couldn’t even go after him—he didn’t put forward the promised thesis about a "ban on high-density infill construction." He’s obviously not very well versed in Moscow’s construction issues—mostly he speaks in generalities and just takes swipes at the "Moscow family" (a reference to the political-business circle around former Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkov). But overall, he makes quite a favorable impression.
