I’m walking down Kamergersky Lane in Moscow, and suddenly, across from the Akademiya café, there’s a huge crowd of pretty girls — about 250 of them. Just to be safe, I crossed to the other side of the street. Damn, I think, that’s a whole swarm of chicks gathered outside the VTB office. Maybe it’s some kind of promotion or a flash mob? Maybe they’re giving a little free VTB to the prettiest one? But they seem to have already placed everything, and it feels too late for a promo event. Something odd and suspicious is going on. Curiosity got the better of my instinct for self-preservation, and as I got closer, I crossed back over to the girls’ side of the street. Turned out they were all lined up for the Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT/MKhAT) studio. Looks like admissions are open, and the chicks want to become actresses.
