A one-minute video file is 10 megabytes. mp4. Over MTS GPRS (a Russian mobile carrier’s data network), it takes exactly ONE HOUR to send by email. Unbelievable. It’s supposedly the 21st century, and yet you have to wait a whole hour for a one-minute clip to upload to the internet. Is there any way at all to send large files quickly from a mobile phone? Sure, there’s Wi-Fi. But it’s not available everywhere. I’d even say it’s available nowhere. If there’s some computer/mobile-phone wizard on my friends list, please help.
