I picked up my hunting license from my parents' place—the one I got back in 1995. For the first time, I actually read everything written in it carefully. To my surprise, I found out that I am "required to surrender all fur pelts I obtain to the state." Yeah, hell with that. This regime isn't getting anything from me. Not squirrels, not martens, not sables. There's also a separate section called "registration of hunting dogs": breed/name/age/tag number and brand. I'm thinking maybe I should enter my French bulldog, Snoopy, there. In principle, he's a hunting dog too. He's always hunting for cheese.
