People of St. Petersburg! Everyone to the march! Be sure to come.
The march is being organized by the NAROD movement and the NBP. Participants include the RKRP (Russian Communist Workers' Party), the Oborona movement, AKM (Vanguard of Red Youth), NTS (People's Labor Union), FSM (Federation of Socialist Youth), NDSM (People's Democratic Youth Union), the Smena movement, and a number of civic organizations. **Route: Kronverksky Prospekt - Kronverksky Bridge - Peter and Paul Fortress. For the first time in modern history, a mass political action will take place on the grounds of the Peter and Paul Fortress. **The action has been approved by the St. Petersburg administration. Approval was obtained with difficulty, after lengthy negotiations. At city hall they threatened protests by motorists ("if you disrupt traffic, drivers will come out with tire irons..."), and demanded that the organizers appear without flags. But we got our way. The march will happen. P.S. I'll be in St. Petersburg for the first time. Those with experience, please advise which train is best if I need to be there by around eight in the morning.
