I spent the first half of the day wonderfully — at the bailiffs’ office. I thought I was the cleverest one. That I could outsmart the Police State (TM). So, on principle, I didn’t pay the fines imposed on me for organizing and taking part in unauthorized protests. And on Saturday, the traffic police officer I handed my documents to so I could get a replacement vehicle registration certificate for the one that had been stolen, gave me a broad smile and said in a pleased voice: "Well, your car is under seizure and on the wanted list."
