Gelman has started an intriguing experiment. It will be interesting to see what comes of it. I don’t think much will, but the idea itself is a good one. Meanwhile, I’m drafting a sinister, provocative official inquiry to the Public Chamber (a Russian civic advisory body) on the same subject. I’ll make it public on Monday.
