It’s a really cool thing. Uphill, downhill, onto the curb, off the curb. It can turn on the spot. And overall, when you’re riding it, you feel like an alien. Still, I had to give up the idea of renting this thing for two weeks—they charge 80 litas an hour (about $40). Yesterday, in the bar at our hotel, every single Lithuanian was rooting for Spain. It was obvious why they supported them last time—basically, because it was against the Russians. But why, choosing between the Spanish and the Germans, did they go with the Spanish? Then again, the Russians were rooting for the Germans yesterday—maybe that explains it.
