I walked out of the Arbat police station. The police are in such disarray that, after several years of constant detentions, I’ve learned this: just sit quietly, and after about thirty minutes, simply get up without a word and walk out through the main entrance. No one will even notice. I’ve left like that about three times already. Of course, this only works if they’ve detained more than five people. The others handed over their passports, so they couldn’t leave. And now the information board at the Arbat police station looks like this:
