Now he regrets that he stayed in Russia back then despite the risk of arrest, but says he could not have acted otherwise. This is where my common sense just “hits the brakes.” I don’t understand who in the Investigative Committee is digging up the issue of Yukos’s bankruptcy, or why. And really, anyone who believes that all the oil could have been stolen from an oil company over six years of operation simply shouldn’t be reading Vedomosti. But they don’t read it anyway—they watch Anshlag (a popular Russian TV comedy/variety show) and The Simpsons. Read more Khodor gave an interview to Vedomosti. What I’ll remember about it is only that he took a swipe at The Simpsons. That was a mistake, of course. That’s how you lose your last supporters. He might as well have spoken out against Futurama too.
