Voldemar Milov is absolutely on fire. Yesterday he took part in the National Assembly debate. And here’s how he describes it: Not one bitch interrupted me or cut me off while I was speaking. They listened in silence, you little goats. The Natsbols (National Bolsheviks) are a pathetic Bolshevik infection. *By the way, Limonov, in his speech, was not at all in a National-Assembly sort of mood (as in, this is supposedly a "place for discussion," and "all differing opinions are welcome"). He said that those who do not support the war are "discrediting the National Assembly," and that he doesn’t want anything to do with such people. So much for your "proto-parliament." *http://v-milov.livejournal.com/48410.html And in general, Voldemar is throwing around all sorts of nasty names. A loudmouth and a bunch of windbags. I can say that v_milov is exaggerating. Limonov spoke very well. And Dmitriev absolutely wiped the floor with the "I’m-a-Georgian" crowd. I think the harsh tone of the post is connected with the intense emotional agitation v_milov was in during the debate. I was sitting next to him, and while the other speakers were talking, I vividly described to Volodya exactly at what point in his speech he would get a tomato in the face. My cheerful predictions did not inspire him in the slightest, and he went up to the podium looking pale. Milov actually spoke well too, running through all the favorite liberal clichés: "blah blah stock market, blah blah capital flight, blah blah what about Iraq." And in general, Milov was VERY impressed by the audience: the UCF (United Civil Front) and the NBP (National Bolshevik Party). I’m used to all sorts of civic congresses, so it didn’t faze me at all. But Voldemar just stood there blinking.
