Just got back from the MICEX (Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange). I expected to see a couple of people sitting on the floor in the corner, rocking back and forth and whispering, "thisistheendthisistheendthisistheend." Nope, everything was calm and reasonably upbeat. MICEX kindly provided a room for a meeting of the initiative group of minority shareholders hungry for dividends, transparency, and the brains of top company managers splattered across the walls. I’m far from the most bloodthirsty person there. It turns out that, as of now, our group already includes minority shareholders from all of Russia’s largest public companies. A decision was made to prepare a congress/conference of minority shareholders. Shareholder Navalny was tasked with coordinating the working group for organizing the congress/conference. That is, me. So if there are any shareholders in my feed who want to take part, welcome.
