2. The Tsentralnaya Hotel is a decent place. I’ve stayed here twice and never once seen prostitutes in the lobby or anything like that. But now that a whole crowd of Muscovites and people from Perm, who came for the inauguration, have checked in, there’s a bright pink business card on the table in every room with a single word on it — 'Vizit' — and a phone number. Either it’s just one of the side effects of local hospitality, or they were planning to shoot some entertaining homemade video featuring the governor’s friends.
