Last Saturday, on "Urban Planning Chronicles" on Ekho (Echo of Moscow, a Russian radio station), I did a segment about "Kolomenskoye" Park. Under a Moscow government decree, part of it is being handed over for development as part of the "Affordable Housing" program. Representatives of the administration were foaming at the mouth trying to prove that this was impossible—that it was all lies and slander. "We of all people would definitely know." This morning, on Vesti-Moskva (Moscow News): a report in which the same people from the park administration are angrily shouting that the Moscow Government is taking part of the park for development under the "Affordable Housing" program.
