The cab driver is telling me right now that a friend of his, also a cab driver, “drove a guy to Courchevel and made 10,000 euros.” And as he tells the story, he keeps saying, “Now that’s unfair.” Apparently meaning that instead of taking me to Courchevel, he’s taking me to Maryino (a residential district in Moscow). And not for 10,000 euros, but for 300 rubles. Truly unfair.
