Good morning, America. A ten-hour flight in economy class really is hell. Especially when the neighboring seats are occupied by the musicians from the band Syabry (a well-known Belarusian ensemble). Elderly, but still full of spirit: for all ten hours they secretly got drunk behind the flight attendants’ backs. They were caught several times and their booze was confiscated, but the crafty Belarusian partisans kept producing more. By the end of the flight, a Russian flight attendant even said to them in a suffering voice: I was ashamed of you in front of the whole world! Musician Leon Oganesov was also on the flight. He kept trying to slip into the short line marked "business elite," but each time he was sent away. At JFK Airport, rather unpatriotically, he went to the line for people with green cards and thus gave himself away. There were about eight people on the plane from New York to Philadelphia. It felt like a subway car at midnight. At the hotel, they charge $9.80 a day for internet. This is not what we expected from the most technologically advanced country. So those are the gossip-news items from the past 24 hours. Off to present the presentation.
