Slon.ru has published a ranking of Moscow districts: where is it good to live in Moscow? Everything is detailed, logical, and based on a clear methodology. But, as often happens with rankings built on indicative metrics, the result comes out a bit odd. For example, Maryino, where I live, is ranked 102nd out of 123 possible places. It’s in the red zone (total disaster). Well, I’m perfectly willing to agree that Maryino is not the best district in Moscow. But at the same time, the district of "Nekrasovka Settlement" is in 49th place and marked with the elite green color. Guys. Have you even been to Nekrasovka? The only thing green there is the residents’ faces. The same goes for Lyublino, which is next to Maryino, only a hundred times worse, yet somehow it’s in 46th place. And anyway, our Maryino guys have always beaten your Lyublino guys.
