Drilling for Their Own Vedomosti-style notes on the continuation of the VTB case. And then I read the responses to my post from yesterday and started thinking. I published what seem to me to be quite substantial pieces of evidence proving the guilt of VTB officials. No independent observer doubts that this is a case of large-scale fraud. The criminal scheme is clear. Some of the participants are as well. And yet the most popular comment is along the lines of: "Well done, I support you, but soon music will be playing in your house and you won’t hear it." Now I’m really worried about you; Buy a bulletproof vest; A bucket of cement; Now you’ve gotten involved with the Georgian mafia too; and so on. Whereas the least popular comment (that is, the comment that does not exist at all) would look something like this: now I’m worried about Kostin; you’re definitely going to get them jailed; those crooks are finished; off through the tundra, along the railway tracks (a reference to prison transport songs); and so on. Why is that?
