There was a funny moment during the award presentation. They announce my last name, and I walk onto the stage. The crowd in the hall, as usually happens at these kinds of awards, gives a half-hearted clap while chewing on red fish. Then suddenly, from one of the tables, there’s wild applause, and two people even stand up and start shouting, “NAVALNY!” Well, I think, would you look at that—I’ve got fans now. Later it turned out that the table was occupied by employees of RUSNANO, led by a managing director. That was their little joke. Real comedians.
