And I, like an idiot, thought it was some shady story, that she was obviously a con artist, and I didn’t write anything. Now she has died because she was denied medical care. So yes, she probably was a fraudster, but what kind of danger to society did she pose that they had to keep her, a disabled woman, in pre-trial detention and torment her to death? She could have stayed at home with an ankle monitor. If she was guilty, then maybe she deserved three years or so, but not the death penalty by torture.
