Could someone please tell me how to unlock an iPhone? I bought it in Moscow, completely legally. I paid three times more for it than I could have in the States, because in the States they sell locked ones. The problem is that this expensive iPhone bought in Russia is also locked, and it only works with our SIM card. What a ridiculous situation. I need our plain, ordinary Russian 3GS iPhone to work properly in America with an AT&T SIM card. I have the $60 unlimited Go plan, if that makes any difference. I’ve seen unlocking instructions several times, but they’re all written for hardcore bespectacled programmer types. What I need is a step-by-step guide for a complete technical idiot. Thanks.
